Heritage of the future
Webradio is a first step in the direction of an important goal: generating registrations of Dutch music. Because the broadcasting corporations tend to limit themselves to highlights, a vast amount of music will never reach a public larger than the visitors of a concert. With so many treasures close at hand and the recording process becoming easier than ever, this is such a waste!
Donemus, de Concertzender, Radio Nederland Wereldomroep and the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep together decided to open up their archives to the public and do their utmost to realise new registrations, the heritage of the future.
Dutch Music Media
Webradio is currently a streaming audio channel with recordings of Dutch compositions and musicians. The various musical genres and styles will fit into a carrousel and from time to time new items will be added. The next phase will be the splitting of genres into theme channels, where it will be possible to download music, if necessary after payment. When related to information, Dutch Music Media will be a fantastic medium drawing attention to Dutch music.
