Bertus van Lier by Nieuw Amsterdam Peil
Nieuw Amsterdams Peil is normally known for its passionate performances of contemporary music, but with this project the collective dives into the past and focuses on one composer: not contemporary, but Dutch. The complete chamber music oeuvre of the highly respected composer Bertus van Lier (1906-1972) will be performed tonight: from the early unknown works of which hardly any recordings can be found, to a number of pieces that were regularly played in his time.
