Ernst Spyckerelle’s arrangements for Intercontinental Ensemble

The Intercontinental Ensemble consists of nine players from all over the world. Their specialty: editing symphonies or piano concertos for smaller ensembles. Well-known works reveal the smallest details and thus acquire an intimate character.

Nicolas van Poucke, descendant of a talented family

The Van Poucke family is blessed with a joyous amount of talent. Ella van Poucke conquers the concert halls with her cello, brother Timothy dances the stars from the sky with the National Ballet and Nicolas is an excellent pianist. He plays solo with the Intercontinental Ensemble, which specializes in arranging well-known symphonic works for smaller ensembles.

Have you heard Schumann's Piano Concerto and Mendelssohn's romantic 'Italian' symphony in the Great Hall before? Then enjoy new details and finer colors when performed in the intimate setting of a chamber music hall. Hertz was made for it.

Mendelssohn Symphony nr. 4 ‘Italian’ (arr. by Ernst Spyckerelle)

Schumann Pianoconcerto (arr. by Ernst Spyckerelle)
