Martyna Kosecka: Ruba’i / The Oasis of Now / Virya

A warm welcome to the concert this upcoming Sunday in Oslo! If you want to spend the evening with electroacoustic music, improvisation and poetry, well that is the right spot to be in!

Martyna Kosecka will present three works, “Ruba’i”, an improvisation “The Oasis of Now” that she made for the SokoÅ‚owsko Sanatorium of Sound Festival last year, and premiere a new work, a radio poem “VÄ«rya” to the poetry by Foruq Farrokhzad.

Martyna Kosecka was born in 1989, Gdynia, Poland. She obtained an MA degree in the composition class of professor Krzysztof Meyer, BA degree in orchestral conducting in class of maestro Rafał Jacek Delekta in Music Academy in Kraków, and MA in orchestral conducting in the class of maestro Szymon Bywalec in Music Academy in Katowice.
