Reawakening Suppressed Music is a three-year project dedicated to recording and sharing some of the “forgotten” symphonic works written by persecuted composers who suffered under the Nazis, as well as bringing to the public awareness other banned musical treasures that otherwise will be lost forever.
On Saturday afternoon, November 29, 2025, the fifth edition of the Festival Forbidden Music Regained will take place in the Bernard Haitinkzaal at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
