Visual art and music often form a beautiful combination. In the Rembrandt room of Museum De Lakenhal, violinist Tosca Opdam, artistic director of the Miniaturen series, and violist Iteke Wijbenga will perform four classical works in an intimate setting that perfectly match the life and work of David Bailly. One of those works is the composition Vanitas vanitatum by Bram Kortekaas, that was inspired by Bailly’s Vanitas Still-life with a Portrait of a Young Painter.
