Bram Kortekaas / Jesse Passenier / Bianca Bongers
For composers, the accordionist Vincent van Amsterdam is a dream interpreter, who plays the most complex pieces with dedication. He takes the violinist Tosca Opdam on the train for Spring Festina from Bram Kortekaas and Tao to Dis, with which Jesse Passenier pays homage to Astor Piazzolla and Nadia Boulanger. Solo pieces by Bianca Bongers and Heather Pinkham are also on the programme. Sound artists Bianca Holst and Hero Wouters use the Moog synthesizers on their iPads to bring the flora and fauna around the railway to life in their new soundscape composition Traces of Life. Composer des Vaderlands Martin Fondse, who travels with the music train all day, plays new work with his band.
