Willem Pijper: Zes Adagio’s (arrangement by Jan van Dijk)
In Mysticism and Mystery, experience how music takes us to an ‘other reality’, such as the wizarding world of Harry Potter, the freemason world of Mozart and Pijper and the sounds of the famous philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Jolivet’s Flute Concerto, with its melodic lines and exciting rhythm, is performed by the Italian top talent Mario Bruno. Honegger’s string symphony with a magical apotheosis from the trumpet concludes this concert.
