Lowell Dykstra: A set of six for two saxophones and piano

The work was especially written for ‘Duo Beumer en van Ham’ to be performed during the 2023 World Saxophone Congress, held in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (Spain). Saxophonist Wildy Zumwalt (USA) will join for this occasion.

The six parts are inspired by lines from various English poems written by Thomas Hardy, Gerald Manley Hopkins and W.B.Yeats among others and vary very much in mood such as disquietness, a lament, joy and idyll.
