Nikolaii Khrust: new work for violin, oud and electronics
Hosted in residence at the castle Château de Goutelat, the composer Nikolaii Khrust and the musician Basem Al Ashkar present to us the fruit of their work combining the violin, the oud and electronic music. From these sounds, at the crossroads of Eastern and Western cultures, they explore the meeting between digital technology and musical creation.
Nikolaii Khrust won an artistic residency at Château de Goutelat together with Basem Al Ashkar as part of the NORA program. Khrust will write a new work for violin, oud, and electronics. The presentation concert will take place on March 21st.
Residency as part of the Nora program of the Association of Cultural Meeting Centers (ACCR – Ministry of Culture).
