Girls choir Ars Musica conducted by Marjon van der Linden and city organist Gerben Budding perform a musical program celebrating 85 years of Daan Manneke. In addition to music by Manneke, it also includes music by Purcell.

The Phion Orchestra opens the season under the baton of chief conductor Alexei Ogrintchouk with two masterpieces from the classical repertoire. This year, Iranian composer Aftab Darvishi is composer in residence at Phion. Her performance is “Only Violets Remain,” a work commissioned by the orchestra several years ago.
