Dafina Zeqiri Nushi: Memento for string quartet

The second edition of the Kosovar Composers Festival is dedicated to the creativity of composers: Rafet Rudi, Dafina Zeqiri Nushi and Kushtrim Gashi, who have had and continue to have an impact on the development and enrichment of serious Kosovar music.
Interpretation by Altus NB Quartet (MK) – an ensemble also known for interpretations of contemporary music.

Piet-Jan van Rossum: woord

The program “Stars of Heaven” focuses on two Dutch premieres: “Riflesso sull’aria” by Richard Rijnvos and “Le feu rouge foncé” by Piet-Jan van Rossum. Both composers share the same artistic starting point: their new work is inspired by “Trois Poèmes de Mallarmé,” a song cycle for soprano and ensemble by the much-admired Maurice Ravel.

Georgs Pelecis: Aria from Goldberg Variations (arrangement)

Amsterdam Sinfonietta’s new program with Arabic classics from Umm Kulthum and Fairuz, alongside Nai Barghouti’s own songs in arrangements for string orchestra, flute, piano, percussion, bass guitar and qanûn, interwoven with classical and contemporary works for string orchestra.
