Kris Oelbrandt: Frailness in the Lead
Music-loving monk Lode Van Hecke stepped down as Bishop of Ghent in June 2025 – a moment that the diocese naturally does not want to let pass quietly.
Especially for this occasion, Kris Oelbrandt, composer of silence, is writing a new work for arpeggione and baroque orchestra, the centrepiece of a festive concert featuring old and new(er) music.
