Aftab Darvishi: I'm Every Woman
I'm Every Woman is an ode to the many shapes and faces of women, and of female communities in particular. The makers – eight women – were inspired by stories of women's communities 'on the edge of the city, in the heart of society'. Spoken word artist Rachel Rumai Diaz, soprano Lilian Farahani and the four strings tell the stories of the harmonic power of sisterhood in this music theater performance, but also a clash of incomprehension and differences. The performance is a part of the Wonderfeel Festival.
