Aftab Darvishi: new work

The world-famous Cello Octet Amsterdam is a guest at November Music Kids. The eight cello masters present their new children’s show Cellobende (6+) during the festival. Cellobende is a musical theater performance about the wonderful world of adults: about important appointments, routines, crossing the road and smooth oldies. The inimitable behavior of great people is musically analyzed. Children also get a special insight into the crazy, chaotic world of adults.

Cello Octet Amsterdam previously caused a sensation with their family performances Cellostorm and Cello Krijgers. Now the cello company is joining forces with director Jochem Stavenuiter. Composers Morris Kliphuis and Aftab Darvishi are writing brand new music especially for the performance Cellobende. Both composers with a great track record and can be heard regularly during November Music.

In collaboration with the Cello Biennale.
