Arnold Marinissen: Five Pessoa Songs

Last summer, Marinissen wrote a song cycle on a selection of Fernando Pessoa’s poems, resulting in “Five Pessoa Songs”. The work will be premiered in a concert by voice and organ students of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with further works by Hendrik Andriessen, Lang, Nielsen, Pärt, Reger, Röntgen, and CvA composition students Hallgrímsson, Kubilius and Trojer.
