Bram Kortekaas / Leo Smit

“Together_Play” is a project format of the Young North German Philharmonic that sees music as a means of opening spaces – for community, for exchange, for new perspectives. Students, aspiring professionals, and ambitious amateur musicians are developing a concert program with works from the 19th to 21st centuries that speak of hope, freedom, and the collapse of utopias. Well-known names stand alongside rediscoveries, grand symphonic sounds alongside intimate colors. A speaker interweaves the music with poetic and political texts.
