Calliope Tsoupaki / Martijn Padding

New European Ensemble, Neo-fanfare 9×13, trombonists and bassoonists from the Royal Conservatoire will come together in the Traptheater of Amare for a program in which music for wind instruments forms the common thread. The program was created in collaboration with the Royal Conservatoire. Prepare yourself for an afternoon full of new music!

The New European Ensemble is one of the most prominent ensembles for new music in the Netherlands, for whom composers like to take up their pen. They will also perform at the Holland Festival this year. Neo-fanfare 9×13 emerged from the controversial ensemble Klang. They have conquered the country with performances in which new music and music theater merge seamlessly. A large part of the musicians were trained at the Royal Conservatoire, where musicians and composers from all over the world still come to study. In this program you can now discover the voices of tomorrow. Conservatory students and Neo-fanfare 9×13 will play brand new pieces that composition students have written especially for this concert.
