Calliope Tsoupaki: “A Song for You”

We couldn’t have imagined it better: the already mythical Lucie Horsch and hard rock star Olga Pashchenko as a chamber music duo! Both combine musical naturalness with a deep respect for the musical notes and a temperamental performance style that makes every score tingle and every concert extremely exciting. No wonder that this poster is a nice mix between the dancing baroque of father Bach, the crushing Empfindsamkeit of son C.P.E., contemporary work by Kurtág and a custom-made creation by the Greek class leader Calliope Tsoupaki.

Program:

Recorder sonates by Johann Sebastian en Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann & Joseph Bodin de Boismortier

György Kurtág: Sappho-Fragment (for recorder)
