It’s time! After years of preparation, thanks to the support of many private individuals, funds and organizations, an impressive new work of art can be added to the Grote Kerk of Alkmaar: The Light of Freedom.

A stained glass window of 23 meters high and 6 meters wide, made by the internationally known artist Fiona Tan on the occasion of the celebration of 450 years of Alkmaars Relief.

Official unveiling with a piece ‘Ver Aeternum’ written especially for this occasion by composer Calliope Tsoupaki.
