Canto Ostinato on carillon and three piano’s (St. Servaas)

Frank Steijns will celebrate his 25th anniversary as city carillonneur of Maastricht on 1 September.

In honor of this festive occasion, he will play a special performance of ‘CANTO OSTINATO’ in the Basilica of Saint Servatius. This composition by the Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt is also described as ‘classical trance’. Frank Steijns plays the Servaascarillon in collaboration with pianists Jeroen & Sandra van Veen and Martine Wijers. Chairs and loungers have been placed in the Pandhof, but you can also bring your own blankets and pillows to listen to the concert comfortably in the open air. Admission is free.
