Canto Ostinato Strings Attached
On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, the Matangi Quartet recently became the first string quartet ever to record Simeon Ten Holt’s ‘Canto Ostinato’ on CD. During this concert, artist Gerard de Bruyne is inspired by the music and makes live illustrations that can be seen on a large screen behind the musicians.
