Lunch concert by Dutch Classical Talent/Theatrical concert about the love story of Orpheus and Eurydice

The tragic love story of Orpheus and Eurydice has inspired countless artists. In a theatrical concert, Joost Willemze now tells this story on the harp. His unparalleled talent is evidenced by the first prizes he won at international competitions. In addition to harp at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Willemze also studied Russian and Classical Languages at Leiden University. In this performance his love for music and his love for Greek mythology come together.

The jury of Dutch Classical Talent also makes a link to antiquity: ‘He plays the harp like a Greek god. With its serene appearance and stylized program, it shows us how beautiful simplicity can be. Beautiful, big sound and clear virtuosity.’

Dutch Classical Talent is a development program for young Dutch top musicians.
