Chiel Meijering: ‘Caixa de dolços’ (Candy Box)
The Dutch Youth String Orchestra has won first prize at the Summa Cum Laude (SCL) Competition in Vienna in summer 2023! The competition is part of the SCM International Youth Music Festival, a global youth music festival.
Young talents from all over the world travel to the city of music to perform on one of the world’s most famous stages. The competition took place in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, where the orchestra won first prize in the ‘string orchestras’ category. The international jury was clearly impressed by this talented orchestra. On 4 July, the orchestra will play at the Gala winner’s concert in Great Hall of the Konzerthaus
