“Creatural” is an engaging dance theatre production that digs into what makes us who we are. It’s a story about the hidden parts of ourselves that we often keep locked away from the world.
Set against the backdrop of the human psyche, the play delves into the intricate interplay between consciousness and primal instincts.
The performance follows a journey of several creatures. These creatures represent all the deep, sometimes scary, and wild parts of being a human that we don’t always show to others. Through a series of scenes filled with mystery, the audience sees how those creatures interact with each other: they dominate, manipulate and also help each other. It’s a bit like a dance between light and darkness, as they navigate through their fears and desires.
The production uses captivating visuals, sounds, and movements to draw the audience into the world of the mind. It’s an immersive experience that makes you feel like you’re right there alongside the characters, grappling with the complexities of being a human.
“Creatural” isn’t just about one person’s journey—it’s about all of us. It encourages us to reflect on our own inner struggles and to embrace the parts of ourselves that we might not always understand.
As a result, “Creatural” leaves audiences with a deeper understanding of what it means to be human and the courage it takes to face our innermost selves.
