Daan Manneke: Konzert für Sopran und Orgel, Da Pacem

Concert on the Witte organ in Museum Speelklok Utrecht, the former Buurkerk, by organist Gerben Budding together with soprano Nanette Mans.

The program of this first organ concert is a mix of French and German romantic music and works by Daan Manneke and Bert Matter. The large romantic Witte organ of the Buurkerk from 1883 will be shown to its best advantage by their program. In addition, the only real concert barrel organ in the collection of Museum Speelklok, the Dubbele Ruth, will play a role. The question to the listener: are you sure you are listening to a barrel organ?!
