Danya Pilchen: Paper Braids

Danya Pilchen and the Kali Ensemble take the audience on an exploration of the “resonances of the Orgelpark” by revisiting Pilchen’s composition Paper Braids. Paper Braids was commissioned by the Orgelpark and premiered there on December 7, 2024.

Pilchen and the ensemble focus primarily on the connection of these resonances with the way each listener experiences time and space for themselves. To this end, they combine compositional techniques developed in-house, the technology of the Orgelpark’s Hyperorgan, and “creative ways of listening”.
