A Dutch chamber ensemble that has become an integral part of the musical landscape, the Calefax Reed Quintet is much beloved. The combination of oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone and bassoon is priceless. Calefax will once again stretch its limits at November Music 2022 with two new works, composed by Joël Bons and Jan-Peter de Graaff.

Maxim Shalygin: Dolcissima

Cellist Nuala McKenna and pianist Antonii Baryshevskyi met at Splendor last year and promptly decided to create a special evening dedicated to works for cello and piano. Their program brings together three late works by Claude Debussy, Robert Schumann, and Frédéric Chopin, alongside a contemporary composition by Ukrainian-born composer Maxim Shalygin.
