Dmitri Kourliandski: The order of things

The internationally active composer Dmitri Kourliandski and the writer Nastya Rodionova are working on a work on behalf of the HKB and together with students: In the spring semester, the texts for the work are created in workshops with the HKB Literature Institute, while the musical parts are composed by music students as part of the International Cooperation Masters for New Music in Bern, Dresden and Salzburg. The production will be presented two days later in the Mozarteum Salzburg.

In collaboration with the Conservatory of Amsterdam and docent Ralph van Raat, the Leiden Salon presents four concerts featuring Dutch (piano) music from the 20th century. Well-known and lesser-known composers will be featured. A nice touch is that three of these concerts will be given by (piano) students from abroad, a wonderful meeting of cultures.
