Līmen IX (for violin, saxophones, percussion, accordion, tape & live electronics) In 2021, I encountered the phenomenon of liminal space, which was later constructed in interdisciplinary works and I have been researching it ever since. Liminal spaces are thresholds or abandoned residential buildings, areas, corridors, hallways, underground pathways, shopping malls, office buildings, etc.

The three-day FestiSax event focuses on ensemble playing and centers around the saxophone in both classical and contemporary jazz music. The event will feature two monographs on works by contemporary composers. The first concert will explore the musical universe of Jacob ter Veldhuis, also known as JacobTV.
