Egbert Jan Louwerse: 50 Fish: for flute and electronic soundscape

“Concert with Power,” a cutting-edge performance featuring solo flute and electronics, where tradition merges with contemporary innovation. Highlighting this event is Next Level, a performance based on Artur Zagajewski’s Composition arithmétique for piccolo and tape, reimagined in a multimedia format inspired by 8-bit video games.

The program also includes 50 Fish by Egbert Jan Louwerse, a work that immerses listeners in the mysterious soundscapes of the deep sea, and Grzegorz Molitorys’ The Mouse Army Under Kruszwica, which brings to life a legendary Slavic tale through vivid flute sounds.

This unique concert explores the expressive possibilities of combining acoustic flute performance with electronic soundscapes, offering an exciting exploration of new sonic territories. Alicja Molitorys, an internationally renowned Polish flutist with a passion for contemporary music and extended techniques, brings her expertise in both traditional and experimental repertoire to the stage. With a career that spans over 100 world premieres, her ability to merge acoustic performance with innovative sound technologies offers audiences a captivating and immersive experience.
