Hanna Kulenty: Concerto Rosso

In ‘Verbum Creationis’ Jakub Sarwas combines traditional values with modern means of expression: orchestral music with electronics. The premiere of this DRP commissioned work was already planned for 2021 and can now be rescheduled. It is complemented by the two rhythm-emphasized, fiery, brilliant pieces by Bacewicz and Kulenty as well as Paderewski’s romantic, virtuosic, melodic piano concerto.

Grażyna Bacewicz – Ouvertüre für Orchester
Jakub Sarwas – Verbum Creationis

A Singer’s Farewell Semi-staged performance with beautiful music from the Romantic period. There was a time when increasing age meant wisdom and respect. That is no longer self-evident.
