On October 20, the Tollens Ensemble celebrated its 50th anniversary. Given the relationship of a number of composers with Haarlem, Tollens is presenting a repeat of this festive anniversary concert in the Joseph Church. Music by Pieter Hellendaal, Herman Strategier, Hendrik Andriessen, Albert de Klerk and Ruud Koumans. A completely Dutch program.

Ton van Eck (organ) in the ‘Concert for organ positive and strings’ by Albert de Klerk, and Marjo Ineke (flute), Willem Luijt (oboe) Anne van Eck (violin) and Katja Dirven (cello) in the ‘ Chromatic variations for solo quartet and string orchestra by Hendrik Andriessen.
