Hendrik Andriessen: Miroir de Peine
A very special concert on the longest day of the year. On June 21 at 8 p.m. there will be an organ concert by Klaartje van Veldhoven and Matthias Havinga. An evening full of music from at least 65 years old, full of firsts. Namely from the album Miroir de Peine. They have carefully unearthed gems from the Dutch organ and singing repertoire between 1922 and 1955. Apart from Hendrik Andriessen’s title work, none of these works has been recorded before. The album receives rave reviews and can be heard live on this evening in the Oostkerk!
