Henk Badings: Quempas / Preludium en Fuga no. 2

Three Dutch composers pass by in the rarely heard combination of organ and viola. Composer Hans Tolhuijs, who feels at home in almost all genres in his career as a musician, wrote a suite for organ and viola: Water, Earth, Air and Fire. You will hear this brand new suite alongside the fantasy pieces of organist-composer Margreet Chr. de Jong. Two works from the second half of the 20th century by ‘classical’ composer Badings are on the programme.
