Henk de Vlieger: Arrangement of Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures at an exhibition’
On Saturday April 20, all the paintings that the Hattemer artists have made come to life. In the run-up to this concert, various free painting workshops were given to give people who are not easily exposed to art and music a platform. The paintings that have been made are based on the different parts of the musical piece The Exhibition of Pictures by Mussorgsky.
The paintings will be exhibited before the concert. A photo is taken of each painting and shown on the projector for the relevant part. This way the paintings really come to life!
The concert is a celebration of 125-years of the association ‘The Christian Music Association in Hattem’, an amateur brass band orchestra.
