Isidora Žebeljan / Veljko Nenadić: Dark Velvet
Violinist Julija Hartig and pianist Reineke Broekhans share a musical bond spanning over 25 years. Since winning acclaim at the ‘Gaetano Zinetti’ International Chamber Music Competition, the duo has continued to captivate audiences. As De Volkskrant aptly put it: ‘Together, Hartig and Broekhans create a fascinating world of nostalgia and fragile beauty.’
In their latest program, Dark Velvet, they weave together a rich tapestry of sound — from the haunting contemporary title piece by Žebeljan and Nenadić to the evocative masterworks of Ravel, Janáček, and Fazil Say.
