Jacob Ter Veldhuis: Perfect Person & Views from a Dutch train
version for accordion(s)
- Performer, Ensemble or Orchestra Bernou de Heer & Ilse Kok
version for accordion(s)
A discarded donkey playing the double bass, a hoarse rooster with a trumpet, an old dog playing percussion and a cat singing. Four animals together form a colourful group. In the eyes of the people, the animals are too old or no longer suitable to do their work.
Works for marimba duo by Jannum Kruidhof and Jacob ter Veldhuis on the tour program ‘Views from Dutch Trains’ by Mallet Collective. Train travel sparks the imagination. You meet strangers, watch landscapes constantly change, and have time to reflect. But the train offers more than just beautiful views.
