Jan van de Putte: Uma só Divina Linha

Asko|Schönberg traditionally plays on the opening night of Gaudeamus Festival, which presents, stimulates and supports the latest music by young music pioneers.

Music by unorthodox minds, who know how to break away from conventions and expectations. They play with our time perception, challenge us to embrace microtonal intervals and integrate non-musical sounds into their dramaturgy.

Music is played by nominees for the Gaudeamus Award 2023 Saad Haddad and Uri Kochavi, and by jury members Chaya Czernowin and Dutchman Jan van de Putte, the latter with a vocal tribute to Pessoa.

Program:

Chaya Czernowin – Fast Darkness III
Saad Haddad – Aruah
