Jelger Blanken: Embrace – for flute and piano
Lijing 2024 Art and Culture Feast – The 7th International Flute Festival
”Roaring 20s”/Alena Walentin Flute Recital
Held every three years, it is the largest flute music event in Taiwan and the leading flute music event in the Asia-Pacific region – the International Flute Art Festival Since its inception in 2006, TIFF is now in its seventh year. This is not only a platform for international flute masters to gather in Taiwan, but also an important window for Taiwan’s flute music scene to speak to the world. This year, international flutists such as Karl-Heinz Schütz, Kersten McCall, Alena Walentin, Mario Bruno, Seiya Ueno and Yuan Yu were invited to participate in the event. Hu Zhiwei and others performed together, grand and brilliant can be expected.
In the Good Morning Concert on May 25th, Xinxiang Environmental Cultural and Creative invited Alena Walentin, a flutist from the United Kingdom, to play the role, and invited Huang Zhenying, who is also a Taiwanese flute, to be the guest of co-performance. This concert is based on the 1920s, and Elena tells the story of the crossroads of change and immutability, harmony and conflict through music. In terms of the course and advancement of history, the 1920s were a representative of change and rapid progress. This is especially true in the development of music, especially in the output of flute music works. While planning this recital, Elena from England hopes to tell the story of the conflict and fusion, the progressive and the avant-garde, the serious and the popular in the 1920s through music. The top double masters in the flute industry in the United Kingdom and Taiwan have made a move, cooperating and competing in art and works. Play in a serious and popular style, and enjoy the classic style of the flute.
The 7th International Flute Festival series, the recital shows the confrontation between international and Taiwanese artists, and the concerto night brings together international heavyweight flautists to gather together to gather classical and cross-border at one time, with exquisite music and wonderful performances. Whether you’re a flute music master, a veteran of classical music and wind music, or a newcomer to wind music. The 7th International Flute Art Festival series of programs is by no means cold, and it is worth your participation in listening to and savoring the beauty of flute music.
