Joey Roukens: Summer Preludes
A poetic storyteller with velvet fingers.’ The Dutch pianist Camiel Boomsma is praised by the press and the public for his personal and unique way of playing. Today a program with music by Roukens and Schubert.
Camiel Boomsma is internationally praised for his sensitive and penetrating piano playing. Tonight he will perform ‘Gretchen am Spinnrade’, which Franz Schubert composed at the age of 17 based on a poem by Goethe. And we hear the ’12 Summer Preludes’ for piano from Schiedam-born composer Joey Roukens. A winter concert with a summer touch!
