John Franek : Crossmodal Primitives

What are the limits of the tools we know?
And what happens when we start listening to them differently – through electronics, microphones, objects, field recordings?

The Czech-Slovak ensemble laug.sonoris will present another concert within the noise:zvuk platform, this time focused on extended playing techniques, electroacoustic processing and experimental solo interpretation.

The program connects soloists with electronics, acoustic instruments and their “non-acoustic” possibilities. Music that is created where form becomes discovery and sound becomes physical experience.

Program:
John Franek : Crossmodal Primitives /2025, premiere
Panayiotis Kokoras : Bellow /2021, accordion + electronics
Michal Rataj : Floating /2022, flute + electronics
