John Franek: Radiolarium
John Franek’s piece ‘Radiolarium’ for the 31-TET Fokker Organ and Electronics will be performed as part of the 2025 edition of MicroFest Amsterdam.
Program Note:
Radiolarium is an installative musical work for 31-TET organ and sinusoidal electronics which endeavors to build a sonic structure predicated on the diverse and captivating mineral skeletons of Radiolaria, a type of protozoa. The work in this way is inspired by mathematical proportions and naturally occurring skeletal structures.
