Karel Goeyvaerts @Lunalia Festival
Whoever reads the biography of Karel Goeyvaerts will experience the music history of the 20th century from the front row. He was one of the founders of serialism, electronic music, minimal music and then there is his absolutely unique Aquarius project. Belgium can be proud of this musical son. The musicians of I Solisti, pianist Jan Michiels and soprano Liesbeth Devos, together with musicologist Mark Delaere, provide a fitting ode. Exactly one hundred years after the birth of Karel Goeyvaerts.
This concert will be recorded by Klara and broadcast on June 8, 2023, the 100th birthday of Karel Goeyvaerts.
