On Saturday, December 16 at 8:15 PM chamber choir Sequentus will give a Christmas concert in Nijmegen together with the Nijmegen Koper Konsort. With music by Kodály, Poulenc, Handel and Buxtehude, as well as Lucas Wiegerink, among others, they will sing you through the Christmas story, accompanied by tropet, trombone, horn and tuba. There been put together a surprising mix of baroque, renaissance and contemporary classical music. As a poinsettia on the cake, you listen to an adaptation of the indispensable Christmas classic ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ by Peter Gritton. There’s no better way to get into the Christmas spirit.
