Martijn Padding: Softly Bouncing

Jeugd Orkest Nederland will tour Germany and the Netherlands from Friday 28 July to Thursday 3 August 2023 for a series of concerts led by permanent conductor Jurjen Hempel. After concerts in Koblenz and Lengerich, the orchestra then gives a series of concerts on stages in the Netherlands, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

The concert, which will include the passionate Sixth Symphony by Tchaikovsky and Kornogold’s cinematic Violin Concerto (with Maria Milstein as a soloist), will start with ’Softly Bouncing’ for orchestra by the Dutch composer Martijn Padding.
