Max Knigge: I watched the moon around the house

Poets and composers of all times and from all corners of the world have written and composed about the moon and the mysterious darkness and silence of the night. This concert will feature works by composers Fauré, Saint-Saëns, Dvorák and the Dutch Henriëtte Bosmans.

The highlight this afternoon is the premiere of a composition by the young Dutch composer Max Knigge. Especially for this ensemble he wrote music to a poem by the American poet Emily Dickinson (1830-1886): ‘I watched the moon around the house’. The composer will be present at the premiere in Velp.
