Trio Hochscheid – Hochscheid – van Ruth presents a brand new composition by Max Knigge in a program around the moon. Poets and composers from all over the world (including Marx, Fauré, Saint-Saëns, Dvorák, Bosmans and Wilma Pistorius) sing about the moon, a symbol of the night, in all its mystery, darkness and silence.

The concert culminates in the new work of Max Knigge. Max, who has already written a number of beautiful vocal chamber music works to his name, is writing a new composition especially for this program based on a poem by Emily Dickinson: “I watched the Moon around the House” for mezzo-soprano, cello and piano.
