Maxim Kolomiiets: Bird of the Blue Night

Olga Zado’s Piano Recital “Bird of the Blue Night”

Olga Zado is making her first appearance at the Sendesaal (Bremen, Germany) to record her album “Bird of the Blue Night.” The title refers to a work written by Ukrainian composer Maxim Kolomiiets for the Odessa-born pianist in 2025. With her program, the musician aims to build bridges—between worlds, times, and inner landscapes, for the three works in this program are united by a quiet depth, a sense of the unspeakable, which finds expression through sound.

Borys Lyatoshynsky (1895–1968) – 5 Preludes, Op. 44 (1943)

Maxim Kolomiiets (*1981) – Bird of the Blue Night (2025)
