This event will start at 8 p.m. with a word of thanks from Esther Gottschalk in the context of Composer’s Day. The JIP Chamber Choir concert (at 8.30 pm) can then be visited. The musical part of the evening continues at Park 6 at 9:30 PM. High-profile musicians and ensembles play new music by composers working in the Netherlands. You will listen to performances by cellist Maya Fridman, reed quintet Calefax, composing pianist Marion von Tilzer, percussionist Konstantyn Napolov and accordionist Vincent van Amsterdam, together with violinist Tosca Opdam. Kate Moore performs with the Herz Ensemble. Singer/songwriters Sanne Rambags and Genevieve Murphy perform their own songs. The Ukrainian pianist Antonii Baryshevskyi, who has settled in Amsterdam, plays works by Calliope Tsoupaki, Guus Janssen, and Maxim Shalygin.
